Meet the Doctor
David E Sparks DDS grew up in a dental environment. His father and brother were dental technicians. His father was in the profession for 75 years, operating the Sparks Dental Laboratory in Indiana, Pa. for 40 years. " I always wanted to be a Dentist. I've never consider it work. Helping folks improve their health through good dentistry is the fulfillment of a lifelong ambition, and I'm still passionate about this wonderful and dynamic profession."
Dr. Sparks is a 1968 graduate of Indiana Area High School. He earned a BS and BA in Biology and History as a dual major, graduating from Juniata College in 1972. He went on to West Virginia University School of Dentistry and graduated with honors in 1976. He has been in private practice since his graduation. A member of the Indiana County Dental Society, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and American Dental Association, he has lectured nationally and internationally on Lasers in Dentistry. When not practicing dentistry he can be found bicycling with his wife Jeanne and son Jimmy or playing hockey, tennis, or skiing in Utah where his daughter Amanda, Son-in- Law Zach and Granddaughters Wynter and Adison reside.
